Why Pets in the Classroom?

What Is the Classroom Pet Program?

The Classroom Pet Program was designed to harness the power of these adorable educators.  Our mission is to provide classrooms with the benefits of a guinea pig or bunny at no cost to the school, fully supported with medical care, dietary needs, and a range of educational resources.

How It Works:

1. Educational Enhancement - Teachers receive comprehensive lesson plans and support materials to seamlessly integrate their new Classroom Pet into the curriculum.  Whether it's a science lesson about mammals or an opportunity to foster empathy and responsibility, Pets naturally captivate and inspire students.
2. Full Support and No Financial Burden - All aspects of Pet care, including health check-ups at Hannah Pet Hospital, habitat, and food, are covered by Hannah the Pet Society.  This ensures that teachers and schools can focus on education without financial concerns.
3. Welfare and Support - The health and happiness of the Classroom Pets are our top priorities.  We provide regular check-ins and guidance to ensure the Pets receive excellent care, maintaining the highest welfare standards.
4. Simple Application Process - Teachers can easily apply for a Classroom Pet by filling out our application form.  Once approved, we work with them to find the perfect Pet that aligns with their classroom’s needs and dynamics.
